Double grip
The individual mouthpiece completely fills the space between lips/cheeks on the one hand and teeth/gums on the other. The natural tension of the lips and cheeks is then enough to grip the mouthpiece firmly in the mouth.
The two bite platforms provide additional grip and safety.
Flow resistance
A defined increasing of the distance between upper and lower jaw reduces the flow resistance when inhaling and exhaling to a minimum, thus preventing an increase in blood CO² content.
